Senior Software Engineer (French Speaking) - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (French Speaking) to join our innovative team. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in Italy, contributing to a mission that simplifies how developers interact with government services. You will play a crucial role in making the exchange of electronic documents, such as e-invoices, fast, secure, and developer-friendly through powerful API solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead the development and deployment of core products tailored for the French market.
• Architect, build, and document backend components and APIs, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of the systems you develop.
• Collaborate directly with customers to support smooth and successful integrations.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage junior and mid-level developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience in developing web applications and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with scalable API projects.
• Solid understanding of both French (native or fluent) and English (B2 level or higher).
• Experience working directly with clients or stakeholders.
• Familiarity with fiscal compliance, e-invoicing standards, or government APIs is a strong plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with PHP (preferably with Symfony) and Python.
• Knowledge of AWS or similar cloud platforms.
