Customer Success Engineer - Remote Role for AI Innovators

About the Role

We are excited to announce an opening for a Customer Success Engineer to join our dynamic team at Agora. This remote position is perfect for individuals passionate about real-time communication and AI technologies. As a Customer Success Engineer, you will not only provide technical support but also engage with developers to enhance their integration experience with Agora's powerful APIs.

What You'll Do

  • Provide technical support to developers integrating Agora SDKs and services, including RTC, Signaling, and Conversational AI.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to audio/video quality, network connectivity, and SDK integration across various platforms (iOS, Android, Web).
  • Analyze logs and develop reproduction demos to identify root causes of technical issues.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to escalate and track product issues effectively.
  • Write technical documentation, integration guidance, and best-practice recommendations for developers.
  • Act as a technical advocate for customers by providing feedback on recurring issues and feature requests.
  • Engage with local developer communities through meetups, tech groups, and hackathons to promote Agora's solutions.
  • Share insights on AI and real-time communication trends with developers and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern AI application development.
  • Familiarity with LLM application patterns, such as agents and prompt engineering.
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, NAT, firewall).
  • Experience with at least one platform: iOS, Android, Web (JavaScript/WebRTC), or backend (Node.js/Java/Python/Go).
  • Ability to read logs, debug SDK/API integrations, and reproduce technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex topics clearly and engagingly.
  • Passionate about learning and exploring new technologies, especially in the AI space.
  • Comfortable representing the company in external technical settings.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in building small demos or scripts to validate technical scenarios.
  • Previous involvement in community events or developer advocacy.
