Senior Software Developer - Remote Position in Commercial Real Estate

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will have the opportunity to create exceptional software products that redefine the Commercial Real Estate industry. As a Senior Software Developer, you will collaborate with product teams to build high-quality backend and frontend features while scaling both our codebase and the engineering organization.

What You'll Do

• Build and launch excellent software by understanding customer needs and engineering elegant solutions.
• Make sound technical and architectural decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate enterprise needs into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture by mentoring junior engineers and conducting thorough code reviews.
• Establish standards for code quality, testing, and technical decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product software development experience in SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and React, with an emphasis on backend development.
• Ability to own complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Strong technical judgment with clear communication to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A collaborative mindset with a desire to mentor through problem-solving.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of database management systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
