Logistics Team Leader - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Sonepar. This Logistics Team Leader remote position offers you the opportunity to lead a dedicated team while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency in our logistics operations. You will play a crucial role in driving our ambitious transformation to become the world’s leading distributor of electrical materials.

What You'll Do

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and actively participate in risk reduction initiatives.
• Lead daily improvement meetings and facilitate problem-solving sessions with your team.
• Manage a team of 15 to 25 logistics professionals, planning and distributing work effectively.
• Conduct performance reviews and develop your team’s skills through training and mentorship.
• Monitor daily and weekly reporting to track team performance against objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics management within a warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of logistics flows and safety regulations.
• Proficient in operational response to urgent situations.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Education level: BAC +2 in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.

Nice to Have

• Experience with digital tools for logistics management.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
