About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Porter to join our vibrant Front of House team at Seasons Holidays, located in Seaham Hall, County Durham. As a Porter, you will play a crucial role in providing quality customer care for our guests. What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and assist with their luggage, ensuring a smooth check-in experience.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby and public areas.
• Coordinate with the reception team to provide timely assistance to guests.
• Valet park cars while ensuring safety and security.
• Participate in various charity events and fundraising initiatives as part of our community engagement.
• Contribute to the workplace wellness program and be an active member of our Sustainable Team scheme.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
• Participate in in-house training to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of previous hospitality experience in a face-to-face role.
• Must be over the age of 25 and hold a full driving license due to insurance requirements.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered.
• Ability to interact effectively with management, staff, and guests.
• Team player with the ability to work independently and handle shift-based work.
• Fluent and clear spoken English with good written communication skills.
• Must have reliable transport due to the location of the resort.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment.
• Knowledge of local attractions and services to assist guests.
