Project Controller - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Project Controller to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Project Controller, you will play a crucial role in providing robust commercial and contract control across multiple projects, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective cost management. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to our project delivery and protect project profitability while mitigating commercial risks.

What You'll Do

• Accountable for all commercial and contract control activities from project handover to final account.
• Prepare monthly revenue and cost forecasts per project and present them to stakeholders, identifying and assessing commercial risks and opportunities.
• Lead profitability meetings to discuss project comparisons, risks, and opportunities with relevant stakeholders.
• Review and track project cashflows in conjunction with approved budgets and monthly cost spend.
• Manage all contractual requirements, ensuring compliance and maximizing commercial opportunity.
• Raise and submit payment applications to clients in a timely manner to avoid negative cashflow.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support internal or external audits by providing necessary financial evidence.

Requirements

• Education: Understanding of Project Management and Contract Management.
• Experience: Background in a relevant commercial role with project forecasting experience.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commercial leadership mindset.
• Knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budget processes is essential.
• Good Excel knowledge and familiarity with ERP systems are desirable.

• Experience in administration and project management.
