Senior Site Reliability Engineer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We’re hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at MoonPay. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the decentralized economy while ensuring the reliability and performance of our platform. As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our infrastructure and supporting our mission to provide financial empowerment through cryptocurrency.

What You'll Do

• Improve the resiliency and reliability of our current PaaS solution.
• Build dashboards, monitoring, and alerting mechanisms using Datadog.
• Conduct load testing and performance tuning of our production services.
• Maintain and lifecycle our Kubernetes clusters.
• Implement new technologies on top of Kubernetes to ensure scalability.
• Develop automated solutions to enhance reliability across our production estate.
• Design and track metrics for site uptime and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback and improve software deployment processes.

Requirements

• Strong systems administration skills with experience in Linux environments.
• Proven experience in platform engineering or SRE roles at fast-growing tech companies.
• Familiarity with technologies such as TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud platforms like Google Cloud.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams, including Security and Data.
• Understanding of complex reliability structures and best practices.
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for excellence.

Nice to Have

• Experience with monitoring tools like DataDog.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as ArgoCD.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and load testing methodologies.
