Technical Specialist - Candy Technology (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Technical Specialist - Candy Technology (Remote) to join our dynamic team at Syntegon. In this role, you will be responsible for commissioning our systems at international client sites, ensuring a seamless connection of components, and providing training to operational and maintenance personnel. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring our systems operate optimally, and you will serve as the central point of contact between clients, project managers, and internal departments.

What You'll Do

• Commission systems at client locations, ensuring all components are connected smoothly.
• Train operational and maintenance staff to ensure optimal system performance.
• Coordinate with various trades to maintain oversight and ensure everything functions perfectly.
• Provide quick and effective solutions for technical or process-related issues on-site.
• Support product development by sharing insights and ideas for product optimization directly with clients.

Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training as a foundation for your skills.
• Experience in assembly and disassembly of mechanical components.
• Strong knowledge in electrical and control engineering, as well as modern process machinery.
• Ability to approach tasks in a structured and analytical manner, finding clear solutions even in complex situations.
• Excellent English language skills and a diplomatic demeanor when interacting with clients.
• Willingness to travel globally for assignments.
• Specialization in candy technology with several years of experience, ideally in jelly mass production.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern process machines.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in food technology.
• Familiarity with international project management.
