Junior Python Developer in Test for Video Automation

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Python Developer in Test to join our Video Automation team at Ajax Systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment. As a Junior Python Developer in Test, you will be responsible for automating tests for video cameras and hardware products, contributing to the development of unique tools for automation and visualization processes.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement automated testing for wired and wireless cameras.
• Create unique tools for automating manual testing processes.
• Support and enhance existing end-to-end automated test frameworks.
• Collaborate with the team to analyze discrepancies in behavior according to technical specifications.
• Work with CI infrastructure based on Jenkins/GitHub.
• Engage in various engineering challenges and tasks that promote growth.

Requirements

• Familiarity with BDD methodology.
• Experience with Python 3 libraries: asyncio, pytest, behave, pyserial, asyncSSH.
• Knowledge of WebRTC (Stun/Turn, ICE), GRPC, RTSP, TCP/UDP, Onvif.
• Proficient in using GIT, SQL, NoSQL (MongoDB), Docker, REST API.
• Strong UNIX experience.
• Basic understanding of testing theory.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in developing personal projects.
• Familiarity with AWS (S3, EC2), Kubernetes.
• Experience configuring Mikrotik network equipment (RouterOS).
• Knowledge of Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Loki.
• Experience writing automated tests for embedded products (UART, SSH).
• Experience with asynchronous streams and code.
