About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our innovative team at Monterail. As a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer remote, you will play a crucial role in developing high-performance web and mobile applications, leveraging your expertise to deliver quality solutions that exceed client expectations.

Requirements

• Ruby on Rails Expert: Strong, hands-on experience in building complex web & mobile backends.
• Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL solutions.
• Cloud & Infra: Experience with AWS/GCP/Heroku and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• DevOps Mindset: Proficiency with Docker, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Quality First: Commitment to TDD (RSpec) and rigorous code testing.
• Tooling: Fluent in Git, Unix/Linux CLI, and modern development workflows.
• Communication: Professional English (written & spoken) for seamless team collaboration.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
