Senior Project Manager - Railway Infrastructure (Remote)
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager for Railway Infrastructure to lead innovative projects remotely. In this role, you will set the course for the future of rail transport, ensuring that today's plans translate into tomorrow's operational rail systems.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategic planning and preliminary studies for complex railway infrastructure projects, including tunnels and bridges.
- Develop interdisciplinary projects for the maintenance and renewal of railway infrastructure, ensuring sustainability and resilience.
- Collaborate with experts to evaluate project variants and guide solutions to decision-making readiness.
- Build and manage project teams, overseeing both internal and external partners in engineering projects.
- Represent our projects confidently in negotiations with authorities, stakeholders, and the public.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering from ETH, University, or FH, ideally with additional project management qualifications.
- Extensive experience in leading studies and preliminary studies for complex infrastructure projects, preferably in the public sector.
- Proven expertise in developing concepts and feasibility studies, contributing to strategic planning of large or multidisciplinary construction projects.
- Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented mindset with persistence and the ability to balance diverse interests to create viable decision-making foundations.
- Fluency in German, with strong communication skills for interaction with authorities, partners, and the public.
