Senior Project Manager - Air Traffic Control Solutions

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team and lead innovative projects in the field of Air Traffic Control (ATC) solutions. As a Senior Project Manager remote, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex software projects that enhance air traffic operations at international airports. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology that supports air traffic controllers worldwide.

What You'll Do

• Manage complex software projects in Air Traffic Control, ensuring customer requirements and industry standards are met.
• Develop project plans with all key stakeholders, ensuring technical feasibility.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships while managing client expectations.
• Lead budget planning, forecasting, and financial controlling activities to ensure projects are delivered within agreed financial parameters.
• Monitor project financial performance, proactively manage costs, and report on budget status to stakeholders.
• Ensure quality control using appropriate systems and tools.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and maintain updated project documentation.
• Facilitate collaboration between third-party vendors, regional teams, and internal departments.
• Support the sales team during pre-sales, including quotations and managing change requests.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, focusing on software delivery for safety-critical applications.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale projects.
• Adept at managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.
• Good understanding of air traffic control systems, airport operations, and related technologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English & German, both spoken and written.
