Assistant Vice President (AVP) - SPV Controllership for Investment Firm
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President (AVP) for SPV Controllership to join KKR, a leading global investment firm, in our Dublin office. This remote role will focus on providing financial oversight for Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) and Aggregators associated with our Americas deals. As an AVP, you will collaborate with a global team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance, making a significant impact on our investment operations.
What You'll Do
- Oversee the onboarding of SPV entities in the Americas to Third Party Fund Administrators.
- Act as the primary point of contact for third-party administrators, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for monthly closes.
- Review US GAAP trial balances and supporting schedules, escalating issues as necessary.
- Monitor budgets versus actuals, investigating variances and ensuring adequate funding for SPVs.
- Support financial oversight across investment holding stacks, including distribution calculations and financial statements.
- Prepare and review debt service calendars, ensuring compliance with credit agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support SPV-related processes, enhancing efficiency and compliance.
- Assist with ad-hoc requests and process improvements, driving standardization and best practices.
Requirements
- Graduate with 8+ years of experience in finance, preferably in Private Equity Fund Administration or Audit.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA qualification required.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex datasets and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with SAP, Power BI, and SQL is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proven track record for accuracy and ethical conduct.
- Experience with automation and data analytics to enhance controllership processes.
- Prior Big 4 audit experience is advantageous.
