About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Director - Quantum Platform to join IonQ, a leader in quantum computing technology. This Senior Product Marketing Director remote position offers a unique opportunity to shape the narrative of our cutting-edge quantum platform, driving market engagement and positioning IonQ as a leader in the quantum computing space.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development of cross-platform narratives that align with IonQ's full-stack quantum platform, ensuring a coherent market message.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, product, and go-to-market teams to create a unified platform narrative that resonates with customers and partners.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messaging that highlights the unique value of IonQ's quantum technology.
  • Support the design of go-to-market strategies and sales playbooks that drive engagement and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Conduct competitive intelligence analysis to position IonQ's offerings effectively against alternatives in the market.
  • Monitor the evolving quantum landscape and adjust positioning and narratives as needed to maintain market leadership.
  • Work closely with Product Managers to ensure successful launches and milestones that reinforce the platform's credibility and strategy.
  • Develop materials tailored to specific industries and regions, enhancing the core quantum narrative for diverse audiences.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in technical product marketing, preferably in deep-tech or complex B2B platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to translate technical subject matter into scalable market narratives.
  • Experience in competitive intelligence and executive-level positioning in sophisticated markets.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working alongside Product Management and Engineering teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach in high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with quantum technology concepts and the ability to engage technical audiences effectively.
  • Strong presentation skills for internal and external audiences, including customers and partners.
  • Highly organized and capable of balancing long-term strategy with immediate execution demands.
