Senior Product Designer - Remote Role in Crypto Industry

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our remote team at Blockworks. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product offerings in the dynamic crypto industry. This position allows you to work from anywhere while contributing to a category-defining product that transforms complex data into actionable insights.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end feature design: Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to break down ideas, define scope, and determine the appropriate fidelity for each phase of the design process.
• Communicate clear, well-reasoned design decisions: Utilize Figma to create crisp visuals that effectively convey your concepts and decisions to stakeholders.
• Lead qualitative and quantitative user research: Conduct interviews and usability tests, pairing insights with data analytics to inform new features and enhance existing ones.
• Bring customer empathy into UX decisions: Build relationships across the organization and with users to gather feedback and improve product thinking.
• Design clear, intuitive data-heavy workflows: Apply strong information architecture skills to simplify complex journeys and refine user flows across various platforms.
• Set the foundation for our design practice: Establish design standards and processes that support high-quality work today and scale as the team grows.
• Lead and evolve our design system: Own our component library and visual patterns, creating a cohesive design language as the product expands.
• Shape long-term product direction: Collaborate closely with the VP of Product to translate customer insights and business needs into a thoughtful design vision.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio showcasing ownership of complex, end-to-end product work.
• Experience designing for data-heavy, B2B products, including dashboards and decision-making tools.
• Proven ability to contribute to 0→1 products and shape open-ended problems into shippable solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering, data, and product teams in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to navigate shifting requirements and deliver high-quality work amidst the chaos of startup environments.

Nice to Have

• Experience in the crypto or financial data space, with familiarity in engaging with crypto-native users.
• Partnership experience with multi-disciplinary teams, leveraging insights from diverse perspectives.
• Background in operator-focused or protocol-adjacent workflows.
