Senior Product Designer - AI Experiences (Remote)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer - AI Experiences to join our innovative team at SmartRecruiters. In this remote role, you will leverage your extensive design expertise to create cutting-edge AI-powered products that enhance user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive workflows and multi-agent interactions that are effective and scalable.

What You'll Do

• Lead the end-to-end discovery for AI-driven experiences, focusing on conversational challenges and new agent features.
• Design, prototype, and validate experiences that adhere to UX best practices and SmartRecruiters design standards.
• Define agent behaviors and orchestration, ensuring seamless interactions across various platforms.
• Design dialogue patterns and error recovery systems to maintain coherent and natural language interactions.
• Build and evolve evaluation frameworks to continuously improve experience quality based on user feedback and data analysis.
• Design cross-channel experiences that align language and behavior across Microsoft Teams, Slack, SMS, and WhatsApp.
• Champion inclusive and responsible AI design practices that prioritize accessibility and user trust.
• Document playbooks and facilitate workshops to empower other teams in designing AI experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in designing complex B2B digital products.
• 2-3+ years of experience in designing AI-powered, conversational, or agentic experiences.
• Strong systems thinking across UI, conversational, and orchestration layers.
• Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping workflows.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions.
• Experience collaborating with PMs, ML engineers, and data teams.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Responsible AI and accessibility standards.
• Experience in designing and validating complex systems involving AI and automation.
