Senior Product Designer - AI-Driven Experiences

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer remote to join our innovative team at HackerRank. In this role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end user experience, designing high-quality solutions that resonate with users and help redefine how companies hire and upskill developers. As a Senior Product Designer remote, you will collaborate closely with product managers, analysts, and engineers throughout the product development lifecycle, from ideation to delivery.

What You'll Do

• Design and ship features that balance UI best practices within AI-powered experiences.
• Proactively research and prototype your ideas, adopting new tools that shorten the time between concept and delivery.
• Stay current on best-in-class developer experiences and apply them to your designs.
• Work independently and strategically to identify problems worth solving and design solutions that users love.
• Partner closely with engineering, product management, AI research, and design peers to define both long-term strategy and short-term tactics.
• Manage competing priorities and act on decisions in the face of ambiguity.
• Contribute to the overall design and product culture at HackerRank.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on industry experience as a product designer.
• Experience collaborating with AI to build products or tools, with examples of your work.
• Proficiency in tools like Figma, Codex, Claude, or Cursor.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visual, UI, and interactive skills.
• Experience working on fast-moving enterprise or prosumer products.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Proven ability to ship high-quality products independently.
