About the Role

We are seeking a Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team at Delasport, a leading player in the iGaming software industry. This Senior PHP Developer remote position offers you the chance to work on exciting projects that combine technology with the thrill of sports and gaming.

What You'll Do

• Participate in the design and decision-making processes for technical solutions.
• Apply best practices in software engineering to minimize technical debt.
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve software issues with a hands-on approach.
• Mentor and train new team members to build a stronger engineering force.
• Collaborate with various development teams to deliver an exceptional product.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with PHP for server-side development.
• Fluent in English for seamless communication.
• Solid grasp of architecture on both theoretical and applied levels.
• Advanced skills in PHP and OOP patterns.
• Experience with Phalcon or Symfony frameworks.
• Skilled with real-time technologies including Sockets, Queues, distributed data streams, and APIs.
• Strong expertise in both Relational and NoSQL databases.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Node.js.
• Familiarity with messaging and streaming technologies like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Knowledge of caching solutions such as Redis and Memcached.
