Senior Online Developer - Back-End Focus for Gaming Studio

About the Role

Join Rebellion as a Senior Online Developer and immerse yourself in the exciting world of game development. This Senior Online Developer remote position offers you the chance to leverage your back-end expertise in a dynamic and creative environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy web applications to support our in-house engine team.
• Produce performant and well-documented code for internal and public-facing APIs.
• Maintain and improve existing tools while developing integrations with third-party APIs.
• Communicate effectively with other teams to resolve bugs and issues.
• Support application deployments and ensure a smooth development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Strong experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue and React.
• Experience with databases like MySQL and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of AWS or equivalent cloud environments.
• Proficiency in software development tools and version control systems (Git/Perforce desirable).
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
• Experience writing serverless functions (AWS Lambda/Azure Functions) is a bonus.

Nice to Have

• Comfortable modifying and maintaining applications written in other languages (e.g., PHP).
