About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer to join our team at HYR Global Source Inc. As a Senior Java Engineer remote, you will focus on developing high-performance, event-driven services while ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring-based frameworks.
• Build and support event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka.
• Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.
• Support production systems with monitoring, alerting, and operational best practices.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
• Contribute to engineering standards, system performance, and overall operational excellence.

Requirements

• 8+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience building event-driven systems (Kafka or similar technologies).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Exposure to monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for production support.
• Strong grasp of engineering best practices and system reliability.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
