About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our team, offering a unique opportunity to work in Strasbourg, France. This Senior Java Developer remote position is perfect for candidates looking to relocate and contribute to a dynamic European organization. You will play a crucial role in the development, configuration, and maintenance of software components that are essential to our operations.

What You'll Do

  • Develop, configure, and maintain software components based on applicable design specifications.
  • Integrate technological components and ensure seamless integration with other applications.
  • Develop interoperability components in accordance with the interoperability framework.
  • Create unit test specifications and perform testing using the applicable toolset.
  • Design automation testing scripts for unit and integration testing in the development environment.
  • Implement user requirements effectively and assist in preparing technical documentation.
  • Support deployment and configuration of the system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years as a Java software and application developer.
  • 1+ year of active work experience with CASE tools or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Java, Kafka, DB integration, and gRPC.
  • Experience in an agile environment.
  • Familiarity with VS Code or IntelliJ is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of clusters, Kubernetes, and containers.
  • Good understanding of web and multi-tier web applications development.
  • Fluency in English is required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
