About the Role

We're hiring a Senior iOS Engineer to join our innovative team at Bevel, the leading AI Health Companion, with over 1 million downloads globally. As a Senior iOS Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our app, ensuring it provides real-time, personalized health guidance to users. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely and make a significant impact in the wellness industry.

What You'll Do

  • Lead major features and architecture decisions across iOS and watchOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to deliver world-class user experiences.
  • Build high-quality, maintainable code with a strong focus on performance and detail.
  • Push the limits of Apple’s frameworks including HealthKit, WatchKit, and SwiftUI.
  • Mentor other engineers, sharing best practices to elevate the engineering standards.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Bevel’s app architecture and internal tools.
  • Help define and refine our development process as we scale.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience building native iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Deep understanding of Apple’s frameworks, app lifecycle, and performance optimization.
  • Proven experience shipping high-quality, design-centric consumer apps.
  • Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency.
  • A strong product mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • A bias for action, ownership, and a passion for shipping.
  • Excited about helping people live healthier, better lives.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with watchOS development.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of health and fitness applications.
