About the Role
Join Hyundai Motor Group as a Senior Infotainment Software Development Engineer in a fully remote capacity. What You'll Do
- Plan and design automotive infotainment features while defining engineering specifications.
- Own feature delivery from requirements through implementation, integration, validation, and release readiness.
- Develop request for quote (RFQ) documentation and lead supplier vetting processes.
- Organize and execute infotainment projects using Agile software development methodologies.
- Lead cross-functional system integration across internal teams and suppliers.
- Mentor software development peers through technical direction and design reviews.
- Drive stakeholder communication regarding project status, risks, and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to state-of-the-art DevOps processes, including CI/CD and automated quality gates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of professional experience in automotive or IT-embedded product development.
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive infotainment field.
- Proficiency in C++, Java, or Kotlin.
- Experience with Android/AAOS development and debugging tools.
- Strong understanding of embedded software fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and timelines.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with common software frameworks like Wayland and OpenGL.
- Familiarity with AAOS architecture concepts.
- Experience in debugging embedded devices.
- Knowledge of vehicle communication network systems.
