Supply Chain Manager - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join our team remotely. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that customers receive the right products at the right time, while driving supply chain performance and developing your team. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will be integral to our plant management team and the Grid & Connect Norway leadership team. Nexans is a global company with growth ambitions in a vital market. What You'll Do

• Lead the Supply Chain department for Grid & Connect Norway, ensuring high delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
• Optimize inventories, capacities, and material flows for maximum efficiency.
• Develop and motivate your team, fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.
• Drive the S&OP process and ensure quality forecasting to meet customer demands.
• Manage material flow from raw materials to finished goods while maintaining minimal inventory levels.
• Participate in the plant management team and contribute to strategic decisions that enhance competitiveness.
• Support business growth and profitability through effective operational purchasing and planning.
• Act as the Nordic supply chain contact, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

Requirements

• A university degree in business or engineering, preferably in supply chain management.
• Management experience with a strong background in supply chain processes.
• Solid IT understanding, especially regarding master data structures.
• Experience with S&OP processes is preferred.
• Strong analytical and strategic mindset with a focus on improvement.
• Engaging and motivating leader who is customer-oriented and collaborative.

Nice to Have

• Industrial experience in supply chain management.
• Experience in Lean methodology and business efficiency.
• Ability to influence and analyze strategic decisions.
