Senior Full-Stack Developer - Node.js & TypeScript for Wix Apps

About the Role

We’re looking for a strong Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our innovative team and work remotely. In this role, you will leverage your deep experience in Node.js and TypeScript to own the end-to-end delivery of complex applications. As a Senior Full-Stack Developer remote, you will architect self-hosted applications and robust backend services that integrate seamlessly with the Wix ecosystem and other platforms.

What You'll Do

• Design and deploy fully self-hosted applications, managing the necessary infrastructure including hosting, networking, security, and external databases.
• Develop robust, scalable backend services in Node.js and TypeScript, including REST endpoints, custom authentication, and structured logging.
• Implement clean data models and manage integrations between Wix Data and external SQL/NoSQL databases like Supabase and Firebase.
• Build and maintain Wix apps using the Wix CLI, creating seamless dashboard extensions and admin UIs.
• Utilize the Wix SDK and Platform APIs to interact with various Wix domain objects.
• Implement complex logic for configurable settings panels and custom admin dashboards.
• Leverage AI tools like Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate development speed and maintain high-quality output.

Requirements

• Experience setting up and maintaining self-hosted Node.js applications.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Experience with self-hosted Node.js environments and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies, particularly React.
• Enthusiasm for using AI tools to enhance coding efficiency.

Nice to Have

• Proven experience with Wix CLI projects and using Wix SDK and Platform APIs.
• Experience developing marketplace applications such as Salesforce, Monday, Shopify, and Webflow.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting platforms like AWS and Vercel.
