Senior Frontend Developer - Banking Applications

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will develop and deliver frontend applications using React, ensuring high-quality user experiences in the banking sector.

What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver frontend applications using React (TypeScript, Redux, Routing, Hooks, Context, Suspense).
• Translate business and system requirements into scalable, stable, and fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
• Tackle complex legacy defects that require advanced analytical skills.
• Ensure adherence to bank standards, including code quality, security, and performance.
• Participate in the analysis, design, coding, and implementation of complex applications.
• Work collaboratively with the team using Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Investigate and resolve production issues to maintain a stable production environment.
• Analyze requirements, estimate efforts, plan timelines, and manage progress.
• Build strong project teams and maintain robust communication on project status.
• Drive and review technical and architectural design, enforcing architectural guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of software development experience.
• Strong experience in frontend development with React 18 or newer.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar relevant education background.
• Proficient in TypeScript, Routing, Hooks, Context, Suspense, and State management solutions (e.g., Redux).
• Affinity for user experience with a keen eye for high-quality UI and UX.
• Strong computer science knowledge (algorithms, data structures, system design).
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Familiarity with standard frontend code editors and tools (e.g., Visual Studio Code, Chrome DevTools).
• Basic Linux shell scripting commands.
• Familiarity with Git and DevOps systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with micro-frontends via Module Federation.
• Knowledge of Web Components.
• Familiarity with bundler/toolchain (e.g., webpack, vite).
• Advanced CSS expertise.
