Kotlin Multiplatform Developer - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Kotlin Multiplatform Developer to join our innovative team at Avaloq. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Mobile Banking experiences for our customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams of skilled engineers to design, develop, and implement new features for next-generation applications.

What You'll Do

• Analyze and design software solutions that meet user needs.
• Write high-performing, scalable, reusable code using Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Maintain and automate the application codebase.
• Implement, test, and document features of mobile banking solutions.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications.
• Actively participate in the development process and contribute to product enhancements.
• Proactively identify bugs, document reproduction steps, and propose solutions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a mobile application developer (Android/iOS).
• Clear understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Kotlin Multiplatform and familiarity with mobile application submission processes (Apple Store / Play Store).
• Strong knowledge of Android/iOS concepts related to user interface, data storage, encryption, and performance.
• Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, MVVM, and Compose.
• Ability to integrate third-party libraries, SDKs, and REST APIs.
• Strong communication skills and experience leading software development teams.
• Analytical and solution-driven mindset with attention to detail.
