Senior Front-End Engineer - Remote Opportunity in Cybersecurity

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team at Immersive Labs. This remote position allows you to work from anywhere in the UK while contributing to our innovative cybersecurity platform. As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our cutting-edge solutions that help organizations enhance their cyber resilience.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain an efficient, reusable, and reliable codebase across the stack.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Partner with Quality Experts to deliver automated tests, ensuring confidence in every feature we release.
• Contribute to the team’s success by fixing bugs, resolving incidents, and minimizing customer impact.
• Help ensure code quality through peer code reviews.
• Work with technologies such as React, TypeScript, and Ruby on Rails to deliver a high-quality product.

Requirements

• Proven experience in building complex web applications, particularly with React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and HTTP.
• Experience with Docker and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical problems to diverse audiences.
• Strong Git skills and experience with semantic HTML and CSS/SASS.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with GraphQL and security/authentication practices.
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques.
