Senior Event Specialist - Remote APAC Focus

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Event Specialist to join our team remotely, focusing on the APAC region. In this role, you will play a crucial part in organizing impactful events that align with our corporate goals. Your expertise will help us enhance our brand presence and drive revenue growth through well-executed events.

What You'll Do

• Research, plan, and execute a program of APAC-focused tradeshows and hosted events across the Charles River portfolio.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, external vendors, and event attendees to ensure successful delivery.
• Act as the subject matter expert for APAC tradeshows and events, driving improvements in event lead quality.
• Partner with regional marketing and creative teams to ensure all messaging and design are on-brand and strategically aligned.
• Track, analyze, and report ROI metrics for each event, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Oversee all aspects of event planning and logistics, including vendor contracts and onsite coordination.
• Collaborate with other departments on projects that generate revenue and strengthen client relationships.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A. /B.S.) or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Four to six years of related experience, including managing large tradeshows.
• Proficiency in English is essential; multiple languages are advantageous.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, Smartsheet, and Cvent or similar software/tools preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
