About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our team at Belong. As a Night Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the well-being of our residents, working collaboratively with a compassionate team.

What You'll Do

• Provide personal and practical care to residents, ensuring their dignity and privacy are respected.
• Demonstrate compassion and empathy while caring for older individuals.
• Assist with mealtimes and ensure safe moving of residents.
• Maintain accurate records for each resident, focusing on their health and well-being.
• Work collaboratively with families to deliver tailored care to each individual.
• Be alert to residents’ needs and respond flexibly to meet their requirements.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Experience working within an elderly care setting is preferred.
• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate.
• Dependable and able to work well under pressure.
• Self-motivated, resilient, and well-organized.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a night care role.
• Additional qualifications in health and social care.
