Senior Electronic Systems Test Engineer - Remote Opportunities Available
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Electronic Systems Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on the End to End Telematics Testing Team, where you will utilize simulation and Hardware in the Loop (HIL) testing to evaluate all aspects of our Client's Digital systems. As a Senior Electronic Systems Test Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
What You'll Do
- Conduct complex analysis and problem-solving as part of the testing process.
- Clarify product requirements and ensure alignment with stakeholders.
- Assist in creating validation plans and establish acceptance criteria.
- Execute product tests using HIL equipment and physical control ECU.
- Analyze test results, summarize conclusions, and document findings with traceability.
- Track product development issues to completion and communicate technical information effectively.
- Generate and present accurate reports on validation thoroughness, status, and results.
- Innovate for efficiency in testing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering/Science.
- 1-3 years of experience in an electronics controls field, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience.
- Experience with HIL system testing and hardware setup/maintenance.
- Proficiency in software coding and developing test automation with Python.
- Basic knowledge of Machine and Engine ECU's and software update processes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Machine Datalink architecture, including SAE J1939.
