Global Grid Integration Sales & Operations Planning Manager - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking a talented Global Grid Integration Sales & Operations Planning Manager to join our team at Hitachi Energy. This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely while implementing a robust Sales & Operations Planning strategy across our supply chain management team. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our operations align with the growing demands of the energy sector.
What You'll Do
- Implement and manage the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes, procedures, and tools necessary for effective supply chain management.
- Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure material and resource planning meets customer expectations.
- Execute annual supply chain budgeting plans in collaboration with Global Product Groups and Hub Business Unit SCM Managers.
- Support critical Supplier Capacity Reservation Agreements and negotiations to optimize supplier performance.
- Align and coordinate S&OP planning across various business units, including Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage, Transformers, and Service.
- Develop S&OP processes using SAP S4Hana to enhance internal processes and improve demand forecasting.
- Lead and motivate a team dedicated to SCM S&OP, ensuring proper organization and skill development.
- Embody the core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for actions while caring for colleagues and the business.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in a related field with a proven track record in S&OP management.
- Demonstrated success in implementing global Sales and Operations Planning in large international organizations.
- Previous leadership experience in supply base management and material planning functions.
- Strong communication and influencing skills in a global context.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to inspire others.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Knowledge of specialized S&OP software/platforms and S/4Hana.
- Fluency in English is required.
