Childcare Manager - Kids Zone (Remote Opportunity)

About the Role

We are looking for an energetic and positive Childcare Manager to lead our Kids’ Zone family. This Childcare Manager remote position offers the unique opportunity to manage a vibrant childcare setting while enjoying the flexibility of remote work. We know the true power of play, indoors and out, and would rather spend our time providing quality play sessions than completing paperwork-based assessments.

What You'll Do

• Manage the setting and team for effective childcare, ensuring adherence to the Statutory Framework and company policies.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 6 months to 12 years.
• Motivate and support the team daily, ensuring high-quality play sessions for every child.
• Act as a positive role model by delivering hands-on sessions and assessing individual needs.
• Lead the team through Ofsted inspections, ensuring the setting is always Ofsted ready.
• Collaborate with the team in developing and implementing inclusive policies.
• Recruit and induct team members, providing relevant training and leading regular training sessions.
• Enforce health & safety and food safety requirements.

Requirements

• A recognised and relevant level 3 qualification or equivalent in Early Years.
• Proven management experience in an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of Safeguarding policies and procedures.
• Understanding of the EYFS and Statutory Framework.
• Ability to manage inclusive practices with knowledge of SEND.

Nice to Have

• Experience in a hospitality setting.
• First Aid qualification.
• Knowledge of outdoor play and activities.
