About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our team at NTT DATA. This Senior Data Analyst remote position offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading technology services company that is committed to innovation and excellence. You will play a crucial role in gathering requirements, documenting processes, and engaging with business stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Gather and document requirements from business stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Interact with developers and testers to build complex logic in Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW).
• Utilize your technical knowledge of data models and database design to optimize data collection systems.
• Develop and implement data analytics strategies that enhance statistical efficiency and quality.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and propose system modifications.
• Conduct Business Acceptance Testing (BAT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Transform business requirements into actionable scripts and perform AS-IS, TO-BE, and Gap analysis.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret data usage across various business functions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
• Strong technical proficiency in database design, data mining techniques, and segmentation.
• Experience with reporting packages like Business Objects and programming languages such as JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC).
• Strong communication skills to convey technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Interpersonal skills for collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
