Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer - 100% Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position that allows you to work 100% remote from anywhere in the USA. As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the company's cloud environments, optimizing components, analyzing issues, and automating processes to ensure efficient cloud solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design, create, and maintain the company's cloud solutions.
• Automate cloud-related tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintain cloud environments in Azure and AWS.
• Communicate with customers to resolve complex issues in production environments.
• Automate service deployment and maintenance tasks.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement tuning strategies to improve query response times.
• Define user access controls, manage permissions, and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Apply software updates and patches to maintain database compatibility and security.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in an infrastructure-related role.
• 4+ years of experience building, delivering, and managing public, private, and hybrid cloud computing platforms (Azure/AWS).
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Ability to read and write complex scripts for automation.
• Solid communication skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
• Experience using source code management tools.
• Experience with relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres) is a plus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Managed Services experience (ITSM & ITIL) is a plus.
• Valid certificates in AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle cloud are a huge plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with open-source and commercial DevOps technologies.
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
