Vehicle Valeter - Remote Preparation Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Vehicle Valeter - Remote Preparation Specialist to join our team at London Hire. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for hire, ensuring they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our fleet management and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Prepare vehicles for delivery to customers, ensuring all documentation is complete and vehicles are in pristine condition.
• Inspect new vehicles upon arrival, verifying compliance with specifications and documentation.
• Check in and inspect vehicles returned from hire, documenting any issues or damages.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle collections and returns in the daily diary.
• Perform minor repairs and visual checks, including fluid levels and tyre conditions.
• Clean vehicles as necessary prior to delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with contractors and ensure adherence to site safety rules.
• Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle yard, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence is mandatory.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering world-class customer service.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.
• Previous experience in vehicle preparation or a related field is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Experience in automotive services or fleet management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in vehicle maintenance.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with contractors and customers.
