HR & OD Systems Development Officer - Remote Opportunity
About the Role
We are seeking an HR & OD Systems Development Officer to join our team on a remote basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our vision and workforce at Wiltshire Council. You will be responsible for supporting various HR and Organizational Development functions, ensuring that our systems and processes align with the council's strategic goals.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive support across HR & OD functions, focusing on ORACLE configurations and processes.
- Collaborate with the Systems Development Manager to gather requirements from Specialist HR & OD teams.
- Contribute to the strategic improvement roadmap for all HR processes.
- Review and develop guidance on changes to HR systems.
- Build and maintain key working relationships across teams and service areas.
Requirements
- NVQ level 4 or equivalent experience in a Human Resources-related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail.
- A willingness to pursue further professional qualifications, such as CIPD Level 5.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Nice to Have
- Experience with ORACLE HR systems.
- Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance.
- Previous experience in a public sector organization.
