About the Role

We are seeking a Senior BIM Coordinator to join our Structural Engineering team at Arcadis, where you will play a vital role in delivering sustainable design and engineering solutions. This Senior BIM Coordinator remote position allows you to collaborate with a diverse team across various locations, including Iasi and Bucharest, while contributing to impactful projects in the built environment.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate regularly with Operational Teams, BIM Coordinators, BIM Modelers, Project Managers, and external partners to align on project BIM objectives.
  • Implement, manage, and deliver BIM on projects at a Business Unit Level, ensuring compliance with Arcadis BIM standards.
  • Oversee the production of complex coordinated project models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Guide project teams through the BIM process, providing training and support to ensure adherence to BIM execution plans.
  • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of products and systems, applying BIM solutions for optimal integration.

Requirements

  • Relevant Structural Engineering degree with substantial experience in BIM environments.
  • Proven track record in Concrete & Steel Design, including detailed plans and bills of quantities.
  • Ability to create custom families and templates to enhance BIM workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency in BIM modeling software and understanding of construction phasing.
  • Exceptional command of technical English terminology and communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with parametric design and scripting languages such as Dynamo or Grasshopper.
  • Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data integration into BIM models.
  • Multilingual proficiency in languages like Dutch, French, or German.
