About the Role

DAC Beachcroft is seeking a Senior Associate - Corporate Law to join our dynamic team in London. This remote Senior Associate position is integral to our established corporate team, which consists of approximately 40 fee earners across Bristol and London. You will lead transactional work for our diverse portfolio of clients both in the UK and internationally.

What You'll Do

  • Lead a wide range of corporate transactions for various clients, ensuring a high standard of service.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients, providing commercially focused legal advice.
  • Manage complex matters proactively and flexibly, including larger transactions.
  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' commercial drivers and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to client service delivery.
  • Draft and review legal documents, correspondence, and advice.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior team members.
  • Contribute to the firm's learning and development programs and lead client presentations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years PQE in corporate law with strong experience in corporate transactions.
  • Excellent academic background with at least a 2.1 degree from a Russell Group university.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to apply legal principles to develop commercially viable strategies.
  • Interest in personal and business development, with a focus on client relationships.
  • Willingness to engage in financial management and adhere to billing procedures.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, and corporate advisory matters.
  • Familiarity with financial institutions, healthcare, and technology sectors.
  • Proven track record in business development and marketing activities.
