About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer remote to join our innovative team at CI&T. As a Senior Android Developer, you will leverage your expertise to enhance user experiences for applications with millions of users. You will collaborate with designers, product owners, and data scientists to develop creative frontend solutions that meet user needs.

What You'll Do

  • Improve the user experience of applications with millions of users.
  • Make technical decisions regarding architecture, tools, and processes.
  • Monitor performance and analyze production data to implement improvements.
  • Review team pull requests and provide constructive feedback.
  • Engage actively in the Android community.
  • Utilize Git for version control.
  • Track metrics and reports using Crashlytics.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Jetpack, Gradle, and Kotlin.
  • Understanding of Clean Code principles and SOLID design principles.
  • Experience with CI/CD, preferably using GitHub Actions.
  • Development with unit tests and Espresso testing.
  • Experience with Clean Architecture and MVVM.
  • Knowledge of LiveData.
  • Familiarity with RxJava and Coroutines.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in mentoring junior developers.
  • Contributions to open-source Android projects.
  • Knowledge of additional programming languages.
