Senior Actuary Analyst - Remote Position

About the Role

Imagine Pediatrics is seeking a Senior Actuary Analyst - Remote to join our compassionate, multi-disciplinary medical group. As a Senior Actuary Analyst, you will leverage your actuarial expertise to conduct and present analytics focusing on forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing the financial and clinical value proposition of the organization. This role is pivotal in enhancing pediatric healthcare for children with complex medical conditions, allowing them to thrive at home and in their communities.

What You'll Do

  • Develop tools to measure performance of value-based arrangements, ensuring effective healthcare delivery.
  • Apply Medicaid reimbursement knowledge to create accurate forecasting models.
  • Partner with the Healthcare Economics team to report on trends and insights.
  • Analyze profitability to inform strategic recommendations that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor performance against forecasts in collaboration with finance teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate with Business Development on new opportunities to expand our impact in pediatric healthcare.

Requirements

  • Associate or working towards Associate of the Society of Actuaries with 3+ exams completed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-4 years of actuarial experience in healthcare or consulting.
  • Medicaid experience is preferred.
  • Experience with value-based reimbursement strategies is a plus.
  • Proficient in SQL and/or SAS.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in pediatric healthcare analytics.
  • Familiarity with advanced statistical modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance.
