About the Role

We're hiring a Business Development Lead to join Electrify, a dynamic digital media company focused on investing in and scaling creators with established YouTube presences. As a Business Development Lead - Remote, you'll drive new business opportunities across our portfolio of channels, including the renowned science education channel Veritasium, which boasts nearly 20 million subscribers and over 3 billion views. This role offers you the chance to work remotely from anywhere with a good internet connection while being part of a decentralized global team.

What You'll Do

  • Drive new business opportunities across a portfolio of channels in the creator economy.
  • Engage in a client-facing role focusing on revenue generation.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with brands and agencies.
  • Develop tailored proposals for YouTube creators to enhance their revenue streams.
  • Stay ahead of trends in the creator economy and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in media, advertising, or digital sales.
  • Strong client-facing experience with brands and agencies.
  • Ability to convert conversations into partnerships effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Highly motivated and proactive self-starter.
  • Strong understanding of the creator economy and YouTube ecosystem.
  • Existing network of brand and agency contacts is a strong advantage.
