Senior Account Executive - B2B Sales (Remote)
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team at Stepstone Group. This Senior Account Executive remote position is crucial for driving our B2B sales strategy and expanding our client base. You will play a key role in selling our comprehensive job platform solutions to medium-sized and strategic large clients. With your negotiation skills and confidence, you will represent Stepstone as a competent recruitment partner in a strategically important customer segment.
What You'll Do
- Engage in active new customer acquisition through targeted outbound initiatives and personal on-site meetings.
- Plan, prepare, and conduct customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain a strong outbound pipeline in the enterprise segment.
- Independently manage the entire sales cycle – from needs assessment to proposal submission, negotiation, and closing.
- Participate in regional trade fairs, industry events, and networking activities to generate leads.
Requirements
- Proven hunter mentality with demonstrable experience in new customer acquisition (3-5+ years in B2B/enterprise field sales).
- Strong relationship-building skills, presentation abilities, and consultative selling experience at decision-maker and C-level.
- Experience with multi-stage, complex sales processes and negotiation skills in high-value deals.
- Self-organized, structured working style in field sales, with a high willingness to travel across Germany (60-80%) and strong resilience.
- Technically/digitally savvy and proficient in using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics).
