About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Security Manager to join our team at Japan Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing, Inc. (JASM). This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and security of our semiconductor manufacturing facility in Kumamoto, Japan. As a Security Manager remote, you will be responsible for implementing and managing security measures that comply with TSMC policies and industry best practices.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, operate, and improve security measures compliant with TSMC policies, laws, and industry best practices.
  • Implement and manage security equipment such as CCTV, access control systems, and X-ray machines.
  • Monitor prohibited items and verify items during removal to reduce risks of leakage, theft, and loss of assets.
  • Develop and implement emergency response measures and facility security plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with police and security-related agencies.
  • Manage security-related budgets and personnel allocation.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits to enhance safety.
  • Oversee the recruitment and training of security staff to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of practical experience in the field of information security.
  • 3 years of team management experience, preferably with teams of 5 or more.
  • Knowledge of information security, risk assessment, and project management skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • University graduate, preferably in IT-related fields.
  • Native level Japanese and business level English proficiency.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners.

Nice to Have

  • Information security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM).
  • Proficiency in Chinese/Taiwanese language.
  • Work experience in a foreign company, especially in manufacturing.
