About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on SCADA/MES Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support manufacturing software applications. This SCADA/MES Developer remote position focuses on building and enhancing SCADA/MES systems to support automation, data capture, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Partner with business users to gather functional and technical requirements.
- Participate in system design, testing, configuration, and deployment.
- Research emerging SCADA/MES technologies and development tools.
- Manage SDLC phases across multiple projects.
- Develop, code, test, and enhance SCADA/MES applications.
- Perform troubleshooting, bug fixes, and enhancements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or similar).
- Minimum 3 years of SCADA Development Experience.
- Minimum 1+ year of Ignition SCADA Experience (Mandatory).
- Experience integrating SCADA/HMI with PLC systems.
- Must currently be employed and have a stable job history (2–3 years per company preferred).
- Must currently be located in Indianapolis or willing to relocate (relocation support provided).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with Python, SQL, and Expression Language.
- Experience with system integrations using REST APIs, SOAP, XML-RPC / JSON-RPC, and Web Services.
