About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Consultant - Automotive Services (Remote) to join our team at MFA Oil. In this role, you will perform customer service and sales duties in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring proper customer education and follow-through on maintenance and repairs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our customers' experiences while working remotely.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor the customer service area and host waiting customers, providing fast and friendly customer service.
  • Handle complaints courteously and efficiently per company policy.
  • Inspect vehicles and review vehicle owner’s manual maintenance requirements to promote needed products and services.
  • Effectively promote sales by explaining the benefits of products and services, implementing promotions, and using suggestive selling techniques.
  • Prepare necessary sales documentation such as warranties and service agreements.
  • Conduct efficient and accurate sales transactions, notifying supervisors of any discrepancies.
  • Manage ticket averages and profitability, assisting the store manager in meeting company expectations.
  • Support store operations by assisting with opening/closing tasks, inventory, and sales reporting.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and sales abilities.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Ability to work holidays, weekends, and after regular business hours as needed.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • One year or more of experience in an automotive shop environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
