Research Programs Manager - Remote Opportunity at Notre Dame
About the Role
We are seeking a Research Programs Manager to join the University of Notre Dame in a remote capacity. This role is pivotal in leading the administration and coordination of major research initiatives and academic events from our Dublin office. As a Research Programs Manager, you will have the opportunity to contribute significantly to the Analysing and Researching Ireland, North and South (ARINS) Project, a major collaboration that brings together leading scholars and policymakers.
What You'll Do
- Manage and coordinate ARINS research programs, including initiatives launching in 2026 that bring together scholars and researchers from Ireland and internationally.
- Partner with the Dublin Director and the broader Keough-Naughton team to support the strategic development and long-term planning of ARINS research programs.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for ARINS research initiatives, coordinating communication between various teams and organizations.
- Lead planning and logistics for high-profile academic conferences, symposia, policy briefings, and public engagement events.
- Provide program management support for additional Keough-Naughton research initiatives in Ireland as needed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Arts, Humanities, or Social Sciences.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in project management, event coordination, or administration in an academic, research, or non-profit environment.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and working to tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with project management software.
- Knowledge of the Irish Studies field or an interest in the subject.
