M&A and Strategy Intern - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate M&A and Strategy Intern to join our team at iad. This role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with the M&A Manager and the Head of Strategy and Corporate Development in a leading PropTech company. As an M&A and Strategy Intern, you will play a crucial role in shaping our international growth strategy and supporting our mergers and acquisitions initiatives. This is a fantastic chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of a top-tier company.

What You'll Do

• Assist in the development of the international M&A strategy and business development plans for the Group.
• Participate in the external growth strategy of the Group.
• Identify, plan, and implement strategic changes in the iad model.
• Analyze investment proposals in collaboration with management and, if necessary, the Board of Directors.
• Conduct reviews and modeling of business plans in conjunction with operational teams.
• Value and financially analyze potential acquisition targets.
• Support the acquisition process: coordinate various internal and external stakeholders, due diligence, valuation, and negotiations.
• Identify potential acquisition targets and engage with executives and advisors to conduct due diligence on key commercial dimensions (financial, tax, legal, and technical).
• Participate in the management of post-merger integration processes and ensure the successful integration of new entities into the Group.

Requirements

• You are a student in a master's program at a leading business or engineering school.
• You have a strong interest in finance and strategy, particularly in high-growth tech companies.
• You possess basic financial techniques (financial analysis, valuation methods, etc.).
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of a third language is a strong plus.
• You demonstrate rigor and the ability to work in a team.
• Previous internship experience in M&A consulting, Transaction Services, Investment Funds, or Strategy Consulting would be advantageous.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial modeling and analysis.
