Internship in Marine Engineering - Remote Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated intern for the position of Marine Engineering Intern to join our team at SKF Marine. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marine engineering while working remotely. As a Marine Engineering Intern, you will contribute to various business areas, including process and quality management, and research and development of stabilizers, shaft components, and oil treatment systems.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with teams across different departments such as sales, service, and production.
• Conduct independent analysis of engineering problems and participate in development projects.
• Assist in statistical evaluations and optimization processes.
• Support daily operations within the department.
• Engage in research and studies that may lead to your final thesis.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field.
• Knowledge of measurement technology and/or hydraulics is a plus.
• Proficient in both German and English (minimum B2/C1 level).
• Strong skills in MS Office applications.
• Experience with CAD systems is advantageous.
• High motivation, willingness to learn, and flexibility.
