About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team at RTI International. In this role, you will lead our social media strategy and execution, enhancing our brand presence and audience engagement across various platforms. As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial part in shaping our organization’s voice in real-time conversations and digital communities.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and evolve a data-informed social media strategy aligned with brand and audience priorities.
  • Define channel roles and platform-specific approaches for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
  • Translate campaigns and initiatives into high-performing social content.
  • Build engaged online communities by fostering conversation and two-way interaction.
  • Track performance metrics to assess reach and engagement, providing insights for optimization.
  • Maintain a consistent, on-brand social presence across all channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, content, campaigns, and communications teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience, or Master's degree and 10 years of experience in social media strategy or digital marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in social media management and brand communications.
  • Proven ability to grow audience engagement and visibility on major platforms.
  • Strong understanding of platform analytics and performance optimization.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in complex or matrixed organizations.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
